Sins of My Father — The Gospel Stage Play
Written, Produced & Directed by Tracy P. Williams (TPIII)
Welcome to Sins of My Father, a powerful gospel stage play written, produced, and directed by Tracy P. Williams (TPIII) — a storyteller, educator, and minister whose work bridges faith, family, and redemption. Adapted from his acclaimed novel of the same name, Sins of My Father invites audiences on an unforgettable journey through pain, forgiveness, and the healing grace of God.
Set at the fictional Tyler University, this contemporary drama follows four fraternity brothers as they struggle with the legacies of their fathers, confront their own failures, and discover the transforming power of identity in Christ. The play sheds light on the realities of fatherlessness, faith, and second chances—reminding us that no matter where we come from, God can redeem every story.
Born out of Tracy’s personal testimony and real-life experiences growing up without a father, Sins of My Father is both raw and redemptive. Through heartfelt performances, powerful music, and emotionally charged storytelling, audiences are drawn into a world where truth meets grace and brokenness becomes the backdrop for breakthrough.
Tracy P. Williams (TPIII) serves as the Director of Reentry Services where he supports justice-impacted students and families while teaching government and leading initiatives focused on education and transformation. A minister, playwright, and motivational speaker, Williams brings a message of hope and restoration that resonates far beyond the stage.
More than entertainment, Sins of My Father is a movement of healing—a call for men and women alike to confront generational pain and embrace the freedom found in faith. Each performance opens the door for reflection, worship, and community dialogue about fatherhood, forgiveness, and faith in action.
